The
massage is the human being's instinctive practice, when pain, the first impulse,
takes place it is to rub the affected area. Also, when another person suffers
the pain, for example a boy, the human being, usually modifies the intonation
and the inflection of the voice, to get the person that suffers it, to be
tranquilized.
The animals, also use the massage, although in their case, they generally make
it, being licked the affected area.
It is known by experience that the pressure of the hand above an aching area,
calms the pain and it relaxes. By means of this experience, of generation in
generation and of culture in culture, they left summing up different massage
techniques, until the one that in our days, it is known as chiromassage.
The chiromassage, is a group of movements made with the hands in contact of the
patient's body, these movements that are of several types: kneadings,
percussions, frictions, veined castings, claps, pinches, pumping, vertebral
shakes, touch, rotations, muscular stretching, mobilizations, etc.
The intensity with which these movements are applied, they determine the massage
type that will be made:

Soft movements: Relaxation or sensitive
chiromassage

Intense movements: Sportive Chiromassage,
adapted for muscular contractures and small muscular problems.

intense mobilizations, sometimes with the help of apparatuses and diverse
instruments (infrareds, vibrations,
tens,
application of cold, etc.):
Chiromassage of recovery muscle's tone and elasticity.
